Former Virginia House of Delegates Speaker, retired teacher, and candidate for Governor recently discussed the ongoing problems at the Virginia Employment Commission under the leadership of Democratic Governor Ralph Northam and Democrats in the General Assembly.
Recent stories have highlighted Virginia’s five month backlog for unemployment claims adjudications, which is the worst in the nation. One press report even highlighted the story of a Virginia Beach woman who received nine letters addressed to different nine different people.
“I can tell you under a Cox administration, you will never see this happen. You will see agencies run efficiently. We will make sure we address these concerns because it affects their everyday life,” Cox said.
