Kirk Cox Statement on Commemorating Black History Month

Former Virginia House of Delegates Speaker, retired teacher, and candidate for Governor Kirk Cox released the following statement Monday commemorating Black History Month.

“This February, we honor the legacy of generations of African Americans who have made lasting contributions to Virginia and our great nation’s history. As we commemorate these Americans’ work in all aspects of our lives, such as the arts, government, science, and civil rights – we recommit ourselves to our party’s vow to championing liberty, opportunity, and freedom for all Virginians.”
