Women for Kirk Coalition Continues to Grow in Second Meeting

Women for Kirk held its second coalition meeting last night featuring Delegate Carrie Coyner. Kirk has worked with Del. Coyner since she was a member of the Chesterfield County School Board.

Coalition members from across the Commonwealth joined the meeting to discuss ways to elevate their outreach and expand involvement in their respective communities.

“We had an awesome group of women at last night’s meeting,” said Del. Coyner. “Women for Kirk is made up of dozens of members who are actively recruiting people in their communities to join our team. It takes teamwork to spread Kirk’s message of hope to make our Commonwealth the best place to live, work and raise a family, and with such a strong group of women working with us, we’re on the right path to achieving that goal.”

Kirk is committed to making sure women’s voices are heard across the Commonwealth as he fights for policies that make sure women feel safe in their communities, have access to good jobs and educational opportunities, and are viewed as the equal members of society that they are. As Kirk’s wife Julie often says, “Women’s voices matter, because all issues are women’s issues.”

On the Kirk Cox for Governor campaign, over 50 percent of Kirk’s campaign staff are women, and as Governor, Kirk will continue to make sure women have more than just a seat at the table.
